How do you block websites in Windows for a specific time period using Focal Filter?

There are a lot of programs out there that can block access to Web sites. The problem with them is that you have to manually disable the block. However, with Focal Filter it can be done automatically. You just have to set the time span for which you want the block to exist. Focal Filter is a program for Windows operating systems that can block a user-generated list of Web sites for a specified period of time. The lock on these sites will persist until the time has elapsed, at which point you can extend the lock or unblock them.

Follow these 5 easy steps:

1)     Download and install Focal Filter.

 2)     Open the Windows start menu and type Focal Filter into the search box.

  Now run the Focal Filter program that appears in the list.sp;

3)     Click Edit My Site List option to open a new window containing the names of the sites you want to block. Add more sites if you want. Click the Save button when you have finished.

4)      Click on the area next to the label Block for. Then a list of available times ranging from 5 minutes to 12 hours will be displayed. Select the time that best fits your need. Now click the Block My Site List button to block your browsers from visiting your list of Web sites. Note that you might have to restart your browser before the block will work.

5)     This is what you will see when the timer ends:

a)     You can unblock the sites by hitting the Close button.

                          OR
b)     You can press the Block Again button if you want to extend the block.

Tech Giant Apple launches iPad Mini Price

Apple launches iPad mini which has a 7.9-inch, 1024-by-768 display, which makes it larger but lower resolution than the 7-inch, 1280-by-800 displays in the Nexus tablet and 7-inch Kindle Fire HD.

It’s as thin as a pencil and as light as a pad of paper, a significant difference when compared with the Nexus 7 or Fire HD.

It may be a bit too large for some jacket pockets, one of the things I’ve really liked about carrying the original Fire or the Nexus tablet. The iPad mini is certainly
getting most of the attention.
Apple iPad mini consists of various features :-

Color in black and white.
Apple iPad mini is just 7.2mm thick and weighs just 0.68 lbs.
Screen resolution size is 1024 x 768 with a 7.9 inch multi-touch display.
Lightning connector with A5, LTE versions.
FaceTime HD camera, boasting a 5MP iSight camera around back, which can record 1080p HD video.
The iPad mini has a dual-band 802.11n Wi-Fi support for speeds up to 150 Mbps, which is twice the Wi-Fi performance compared to previous iPad models.
The iPad mini will be made available in Wi-Fi and 3G/4G models with built-in support for ultrafast wireless standards.
Apple iPad Mini price in India is expected to start from Rs.17000.

In fact, Facebook has 2 inboxes You might have not noticed

u take a look even deeper at the “message” section on the Homepage of your Facebook account, I’m sure you probably will get a little surprised when you “double click” of your mouse on the “message” section, which you will discover that your have 2 inboxes there. Yes, the first one called the “primary” inbox, and the second is the ‘others’ in-boxes.

Back a few months ago when there was only one inbox there, I found all my inbox filled full with messages that come from groups that I have joined, or some companies were advertising to offering it to me about their products. It turns out there I also wonder, where are all the ads that usually come through my inbox and I kind of found it looks like they’re “Gone”,  then I asked myself, “Did Facebook has removed them?”, while I didn’t do anything with them, I meant I didn’t delete them at all from the list, until I “double clicked” the message section in the “home” of my Facebook account, in facct they are all hiding in the the second inboxes so-called “other”.  onestly, at the first time I clicked, I was quite surprised because there are over +150 messages that I had not read before. As you can see in the picture below:
As you can see, it looks like Facebook does not send you a “notifications” on all incoming messages that come to you on the second inbox called “other”, until you “double click” on the message section to view it. Then, it’s because there’s no notifications that send out to you, so I’m sure there are so many Facebook users out there who do not know the existence of the second inbox. Meanwhile, personally I am a little bit happy that Facebook not sending me a “notifications”, it’s because after I had seen the majority of the incoming messages has came from a “groups” or “advertisers”, but there’s also I found a little messages that has coming from my friends too. Well anyway, now I know that there are two inboxes there exist now. What about you?

Many people who have Facebook accounts would like to connect at their work or at their institute (college, university, etc..), But usually these places block the access to social networking and entertainment sites. There are several facebook tricks to violate these blockages so you can check your Facebook without any problems. Here i am going to gives you three facebook tricks with the help of which you can easily unlock your facebook account from restricted area easily.
So here is the list of some facebook tricks to connect to Facebook from work or place of study when it has been blocked:
1. Connect through https:
This one facebook trick is the easiest one to apply.HTTP is the protocol that allows a browser to read a web address or URL and display to the user. But there is also the protocol HTTPS , which is the secure version of the above. Usually system administrators block the addresses as http://www.facebook.com/ , but not secure protocol: https: / / www.facebook.com/ , so you can try in a place where you blocked site lets you enter through the secure protocol. So you also get more security in your account as being an encryption protocol, you can not access data such as passwords, because they are sent encrypted.
Go to this Link from your restricted area : https: / / www.facebook.com/ . So apply this pc tricks on your PC and you will get the result.

2. Enter through the Google translator
One technique widely used to access web sites blocked by the companies is through the online translation system from Google. The translator can translate whole web pages by simply entering the address in the box provided. You can enter the link Facebook and the translator will display the page within a frame in your browser, although there are locks on it.
Go to: http://translate.google.com/

3. Login via proxy
This one facebook tricks is the most comman on tricks. With the help of this facebook trick you can easily access your account from the blocked area. There are many proxy sites on the Internet, providing access to remote sites using a computer that acts as a link, avoiding the use of the server where the pages have been blocked. Although best known as Anonymouse.org, should already be locked into the system of your work, school or university. One that works efficiently is Vtunnel.com. Vtunnel can connect with your Facebook account from a PC blocked, as well as being proxy, you can also enable the cookie system that allows you to enter your username and password to the site.
To use, simply enter www.facebook.com Vtunnel.com address and you can access your account. If for some reason you receive the following message: “Cookies are not enabled on your browser. 4G in INDIA

KOLKATA: Sixteen years after it ushered in the cellphone revolution in India, with chief ministerJyoti Basu making the first call to telecom minister Sukhram in August 1995, Kolkata once again made telecom history on Tuesday by becoming the first Indian city with a 4G link.

The service, an abbreviation for fourth generation wireless, was launched by Airtel, whose predecessor in the city, Modi Telstra mobile, had launched the cellphone service from the city with Basu’s historic call. It wasn’t just the emotional factor that made the city an automatic choice for the 4G launch. A senior Airtel official said the 4G infrastructure in the city had been put in place before others by ZTE Corporation, China’s largest listed telecom equipment company roped in to plan, design, deploy and supply the 4G network in Kolkata. And in remarks that would show Bengal and its capital in positive light to the industry,Bharti Airtel chairman and managing director Sunil Bharti Mittal, who unveiled the service along with telecom minister Kapil Sibal, thanked the state government for fast clearances.

So, Kolkatans can now access ultra-fast broadband service that, according to experts, is expected to be five times as fast as 3G. But a 4G connection will not offer voice or text services (in other words, you cannot use it to make calls or send SMSs). The service is being provided through dongles, which will allow you to link up with computers, laptops and some tablets. A 4G network makes internet browsing much faster and lets users download songs and stream movies much more quickly than with 3G or WiFi.

But as with the rest of the world, its success in India, too, will depend on affordability, a point Sibal emphasised at the launch, confessing that the 3G story in India hadn’t been a successful one.
