CUB's SMS Banking initiatives permit you to access your Bank accounts and carry out various banking transactions and enquires.   If you have a mobile phone, you can use the SMS facility and conduct the following operations using the messaging services of your service provider.

What is SMS Banking?

SMS Banking is one the City Union Bank's  retail banking channels, which allows customers to do banking activities from their mobile phone using SMS Technology. CUB's mobile banking keeps its valued customers updated with their bank account details and enables them to request for their account information and make request to Stop Cheque or Revocation of Stop Payment, Cheque Book Request, Account Statement Request etc.,

What is the difference between SMS alert service and SMS Pull Request?

SMS alert service keeps you informed/ updated about the significant activities/ transactions taken place in your account's. For example you can receive SMS Account Balance alerts or get alert whenever any debit or credit transaction(s) happen in your account for the configurable amount., Inward Clearing Cheque Alert and Deposit Due date alert.


How to activate the service ?
• Fill in the application forms
• Submit it at your respective Branch.
• Please tick for SMS Pull in check box and give your mobile number. Your number will be configured for mobile alerts.
• You will be sent a separate PIN-Mailer (Password) in seven working days.

What is M-PIN (Mobile Banking PIN) ?
• M-PIN is a four digit password  for authentication of request ,  For enquiry through SMS from your Mobile.

What is SMS PULL Facility? 
SMS - It works on the "Text Messaging " in other terms SMS that is available on mobile phones. This facility allows you to send a short text messages to 9900654321 from your mobile phone . The reply is sent to you as an SMS message in few seconds. Kindly do not forget to delete your sent items.

Security Aspects for SMS Pull Mode:
Those customer who are all using SMS Pull Mode ( Normal Text SMS Message) are requested to delete the sent messages from their Mobiles. Because If the customer lost their Mobile phones any one who got the phone can able to see their MPIN. For Security reason we are providing separate MPIN for Application based Mobile Banking and SMS PULL.
How do I use SMS Banking?
• Go to “Menu”
• Select “Messages”, then select, “write messages”, type in the op code followed by specified keyword  depending on the enquiry.
• Press o.k. and send it to
